How do we settle the payment? Is there an advance deposit required?
We insist on a nominal deposit of USD 100 or a 10% of the total tour cost (whichever is more) to be sent to us as soon as the itinerary along with price has been finalized. This deposit is an authorization for us to go ahead with the reservations. Many times we need to shell out money to block rooms in small hotels which do not entertain travel agents, to buy train tickets, to obtain restricted area permits, to pay for reserving berths in trains like Palace on Wheels, Royal Orient etc. Therefore we insist on a token amount. The balance amount however has to be settled 45 days prior to your arrival date. The money can be paid through a wire transfer to our bank account, vide a banker's cheque or a demand draft etc.

If you are booking a tour for a very peak season (Christmas, New Year), full payment is needed in advance, as during this period all the hotels confirm the booking subject to full non refundable advance payment.

Please send us a copy of the remittance, enabling us to follow it from our side.

(Please note that in both the above cases, we will need photocopies of your passport. You can fax these photocopies to us or send the same to us through Airmail.)


How do I know that my reservation is confirmed?t

As soon as you finalize your itinerary, we send you an immediate e-mail confirmation, which includes your itinerary details along with the cost. At the same time we hold hotel & flight bookings on tentative basis & send you the availability status thru email with in 48 hours (as some hotels give response in more than 24 hours).

After receipt of the nominal amount (above mentioned) from you for the booking, we go ahead for the issuance of hotel/service vouchers, air/train tickets* etc. At the same time we revert to you with the final booking status (confirmed) thru email.

In case, any booking (Hotel/Flight/Train) is waitlisted, we suggest you the best alternatives (with status) along with the amended cost of the tour. We make the final arrangements only after getting your approval for these alternatives.

* Booking for train tickets opens only 60 days prior to the date of travel. Hence train tickets can only be booked in this period of two months, not before than that.


CANCELLATION POLICY                                                             
Cancellation charges will be applicable as per following details:
 

If the cancellation is received 45 days prior to the arrival date

 

No Cancellation

If the cancellation is received between 45 days & 30 days prior to the arrival date

 

10% of the tour cost

If the cancellation is received between 29 days & 07 days prior to the arrival date


25% of the tour cost

If the cancellation is received between 06 days & 01 days prior to the arrival date


50% of the tour cost

If the cancellation is received on the day of
arrival/ No show

 

100% Cancellation


If for any reasons, I do not utilize some of the services. Will I get refund for the same?
We refund you immediately for any genuine claim against unutilized services, provided we have not paid non-refundable advance for these services. We make these refunds in Indian Rupees only, which can be changed in your currency at the International Airport (at the time of the departure) or at branches of Thomas Cook/ American Express/Central Bank of India or any branch of Ashok Group of Hotels.


Why should I buy travel insurance?

If because of an illness, accident, or any other unforeseen circumstance you cancel or interrupt travel plans, you face two major financial losses - money you've invested in non-refundable pre-payments, and medical expenses that are not covered by your health insurance. That is why we suggest you to protect your travel investment thru travel insurance.


Do you include travel insurance?

We advise you to arrange travel insurance in your own country.


Is the information I give on the net safe?

Any correspondence exchanged between you and ETERNAL GLORIES will be kept confidential. It will not be shared with any third party under any circumstances. Moreover we assure you that your profile (Name, Email ID, Address, Telephone number) will only be used to communicate with you related to the services you are buying or availing. At no time will this profile be misused.
