Which car will be provided to me for the tour? Can I opt for some other model as well?
Proposed car for all the tours is Ambassador Diesel Car, which is very reliable on Indian roads. This car is comfortable for long distances with more leg space. Its capacity is 1-3 passengers. The same can be opted with/without Air-conditioning facility. If interested, we will be pleased to advise you luxury cars with the supplement.

For our group tours, we have a fairly reliable and a sturdy fleet of busses. To make sure our guest's comfort all our busses are air-conditioned with recline-able seats.

For your kind information, all our vehicles are equipped with facilities of an icebox, first-aid box, CDs & Cassettes of Indian classical & folk music and the like that might be required during the drives.


Can the drivers at all places communicate in English? Is it possible that the same driver accompany us during the entire tour?
All our drivers understand and speak fairly good English and are well trained to understand your needs.

If you are doing the entire tour by surface, we make sure that the same driver accompanies you from beginning till end of the tour.


If a car doesn't reach a pickup point or is late, what do I do?
Normally this does not happen, except in case of any traffic jam, VIP movement etc. on the route. We always make sure that the car reaches the pickup point half an hour before pickup time. However if you are unable to locate our representative or the chauffeur, please call our local office on the numbers mentioned in the address-list* of local offices. If required, you can also call us directly on our emergency numbers.

* We provide you a list of addresses along with contact numbers of all the hotels (included in your tour), local offices and our head office for your convenience.


What is the maximum weight of luggage I can carry free during train journeys?
The maximum ceiling on the luggage, which can be carried free of cost inside the compartment, depends upon the traveling class. Details of the same are appended below:

Air-conditioned First Class (1AC):

What if my luggage gets stolen during the train journey?
We request you to take care of your luggage very well during the journey. However the chances of theft are negligible, as in each compartment there is coach attendants & police staff to prevent any mishap.

However in case of theft of luggage or robbery in running trains, you can approach train conductors/coach attendants or guards. They will give you the FIR forms (First Information Report forms), which may be duly filled-in & handed over to them. The complaint will then be forwarded to the Government Railway Police Station for necessary action. You need not break your journey to lodge a complaint with police. After the journey please inform the same to us to follow-up the case with Railway Police.


What do I do if I need medical assistance during the train journey?
You may contact the Guard, Conductor or Coach attendant. They will try to arrange First Aid or a Doctor to attend and supply medicines at prescribed charges.

Details of available doctors (in Government and Private sector) and hospitals along with addresses and telephone numbers are available with the Station Master at every railway station. In emergency passengers may conveniently avail of the medical facilities using these contact numbers


Where should I look for your representative at railway station after a train journey?
Please get down from your compartment, after your train arrives at the final station of your journey and wait for our representative at the same platform. In most of the cases you will find our representative along with the signboard right in front of your compartment, as we inform your coach & seat numbers to our local offices well in advance. Please read your name on the signboard and confirm the same with the representative.

Please call our local office or directly us on our numbers, already provide to you, in case our representative does not turn up within 15 minutes of your arrival.


Do I need to pay the portage at railway stations?
No, Our representative, who will provide you arrival and/or departure transfers, will pay the portage for your luggage at the railway station.


Do you offer Youth, Child, Infant airfares?
Yes, we offer Youth, Child, Infant airfares, which we advice you along with the tour cost. However, the pricing and rules for such fares are governed by the airlines.


What is the procedure to get the lost baggage, if lost by airlines in transit?
In case a bag is lost in transit by the airlines, you are requested to file a lost baggage report with the airlines at the airport itself. If you continue with the journey, we will collect the baggage from the airlines on your behalf. For the collection of a lost baggage we need the following:

1.
We need an authorization letter from you authorizing Eternal Glories, Agra and its representative to collect the baggage on your behalf.
 
2.
A letter addressed to the Superintendent Customs, stating about lost baggage (mentioning make, colour & dimensions of the bag)..
 
3.
A photocopy of your passport.
4.
The keys of the lost bag for custom clearance.
5.
The original copy of the lost baggage report lodged with the airlines.
  

After collection, we will deliver the bag to you right at the doorstep and bill you for the services provided. You can collect this amount from the airlines back home, producing the invoice.


Will the airline pay temporary compensation for the lost baggage?

Yes, the airlines pay an inconvenience allowance to buy personal effects at the time, you lodge lost baggage report with the airlines. They even offer the baggage delivery charges or sometimes offer to deliver the baggage by themselves at the doorstep.


How much time is required for check-in at the airport for any International as well as domestic flight?

Minimum time required for check-in at the airport is 3 hours prior to the departure of any international flight. In case of any domestic flight, it is at least 1 hour prior to the departure time.
